This website was written by Keith Stribley. He has spent about 5 of the past 7 years living in Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar (Burma) working on Myanmar Unicode Software in his spare time. He is grateful to his wife Khaing Zar Win, for her help, encouragement and patience during this work. Khaing Zar was born near the mouth of the Thanlwin River in Mawlamyine.

Keith worked as a software engineer for a major multinational company for almost 5 years in the UK before coming out to Asia. He has a masters degree in Physics.
